Jeong Ho-yo
Artist Im Man-jae of 'Jeonghoyo (井戶窯)' is a potter based in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do. He has been working on traditional teacups and ceramics for over 30 years.
While inheriting the form and aesthetic of Joseon Ido tea bowls in a modern way, it also aims for practicality and aesthetics that can be used in everyday life.
The wood-fired kiln captures the natural traces of earth and fire, conveying a deep emotional depth through the flow of the glaze and the texture of the surface.

Hoeryeongyu Bodeumi
This teacup, Bodeumi, is crafted from Hadong white clay and traditional Hoeryeong glaze. The subtle brown grains that spread across the clear white base convey a simple and warm charm. Coated with Hoeryeong glaze made from straw ash, it is meticulously fired in a wood-fired kiln, imbuing it with the vivid traces of fire and ash. The Korean lines, perfected through over 20 years of research by ceramic artists, and its rounded shape, comfortably held in both hands, embody the meaning of care and nurturing.
