Winter has arrived—the season of contemplation, when cold air surrounds morning and evening and fallen leaves quietly gather.

Under the theme Winter Contemplations 冬の思索, Teahouse Hada presents a two-person exhibition featuring artist Sairyuki from Kyoto, Japan, and Korean ceramic artist Hwang Seung-wook of Jingokyo.

Centered around deep and tranquil buncheong works that resemble winter itself, this exhibition offers a meaningful opportunity to encounter the works of two artists connected through the artistic exchange between Korea and Japan.

Through diverse techniques such as deombeong, gwiyal, and stamped decoration, the artists quietly express tea and the Four Treasures of the Scholar’s Study as lifelong companions, leaving gentle resonance behind.

We invite you to share in the contemplations of winter at Teahouse Hada.
