Living in the hectic rhythm of modern society, we miss many things. This is especially true of our sense of self. We avoid questions about what we like, what we dislike, what emotions we experience, and the essential nature of our existence. We often feel confused, caught up in the boundaries, standards, and order imposed by the world.
This exhibition, "Self-Portrait 'Drawing Myself with Tea'," utilizes artist Eunjak Girim's tea utensils to invite you into a moment of inner reflection and engage in an inner dialogue over tea. Reflecting on your reflection in the teacup, it offers a moment of meditation that leads you to become the protagonist of your own life.
